Linkwells is a Sydney-based corporate and commercial law firm specialising in intellectual property law.   Our lawyers have worked in top and medium-tier law firms, as well as specialist IP practices in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. 


Linkwells aims to change the way legal services are delivered in Australia.  Our lawyers are proactive, hands on, flexible, energetic and practical in the way that we interact and work with our clients.  


We recognise that the way most current legal practices operate may no longer suit modern businesses.   Our lawyers are not desk bound and prefer to consult clients at the clients' premises, allowing us unique insight into their businesses so that we can better assist them.


Our lawyers are not restricted by the traditional model of legal practice and the pressures of time billing.  Where possible, we offer packaged services so that our clients can have peace of mind and confidence to know that their matters are being handled on quotation basis and at fixed costs.

The Team

David Li

Principle \ LLB (Hons), BSc, GDLP

David is one of the co-founders of Linkwell Lawyers.  He specialises in corporate, commercial and intellectual property law and is also a qualified mediator.  He provides his clients with complete solutions to their business needs and is committed to achieving the most practical and cost effective outcome for his clients.

David is experienced in technology related areas and international manufacturing and distribution networks.  He has advised a number of companies on international distribution networks and related IP issues including, an up and coming Australian technology company on an international distribution network.

​

David is a fluent Mandarin speaker and is able to communicate well with Chinese companies.  He is currently advising the Australian subsidiary of a Chinese conglomerate with a turnover in excess of USD $500 million.
